My name is Smokey, and I live in Phoenix with my husband, JJ, our 2 little dogs, Penny and Jelly, and our cat, Claire.
I love all things Home Improvement. Design, decor, tile, paint, sewing (curtains and cushion covers, not clothes), trim carpentry, landscaping ... pretty much all of it.
JJ loves golf.
JJ and I are empty nesters, with 2 girls out of the house, one of whom is currently in college, and the other is out of college with a career of her own.
I am currently engaged in the full-time endeavor of turning our ugly-duckling house into a beautiful house. This blog chronicles those efforts.
